Gu Yuanjing, a member of the Communist Party of China and a law master's graduate from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is a self-employed cadre formerly serving as a chief judge in a military court. During his military service, he held various positions including platoon leader, political instructor, judge and deputy chief of the former Armed Police Force Military Court, and chief judge of the General Directly Affiliated Military Court of the People's Liberation Army. He has been awarded three Third-Class Merits and was repeatedly recognized as an outstanding civil servant, an excellent Party member, and an outstanding judge.
Currently, Gu serves as a volunteer expert for litigation services at the Supreme People's Court, is a member of the expert panel at China International Economic Consulting Co., Ltd., provides legal advisory services to multiple armed police units and institutions, and acts as a standing legal advisor for a military civilian personnel examination training institution.
